About Us

Make Your Own is established to create a new perspective for the D.I.Y. culture. Founded by Poh Wenxiang, an industrial designer, who has the vision that everyone can create. Co-partnering with Ong Yi Ting (digital artist) and Darren Kek (web designer), Poh Wenxiang plans to build an interactive platform for people to make their own products. 

Make Your Own currently works on three main channels: workshops, products and products.

Workshops

We organise workshops to promote hands on experience to individuals in creating their own products. We share our knowledge with people around, showing them fun and creative solutions to make their own products. We manage workshops for groups as well as corporate events.

Products

Our product series showcase creations of our designers and collaborations. Each represent a certain character and style. Make Your Own aims to build a platform for local designers and artists to share and promote their ideas and creations.

Projects

Make Your Own sees the need of individual designers to craft detailed products for a space to complete the character it needs. These works demand more intricate attention and it may be hard to achieved by the renovation providers and installers. Our services include design, fabrication and installation. We are also able to work with contractors for installations and finishing touches. We currently handle projects for commercial shops and residential spaces.
